Master of Civil Engineering

The MFA programme develops professionals with advanced knowledge and skills in civil engineering design and analysis. Its flexible coursework allows students to specialise in a civil engineering discipline while completing a supervised master’s project.

Academic progression

01

Coursework & timetable

Complete the required advanced civil engineering courses according to the current semester timetable.

02

Master's Project 1

Register the project, select one supervisor through SMAP Online, submit the synopsis and complete the proposal presentation and report.

03

Master's Project 1 assessment

The project is assessed by panels and the supervisor, with 40% from panels and 60% from the supervisor. A score above 65% is required to pass.

04

Master's Project 2

Continue the project, complete the final report and present the findings for assessment by the supervisor and panels.

05

Completion

After endorsement of the results, submit the hardbound report and complete the exit survey.
